ACOUSTIC WALLCOVERING (SOUNDPROOF)

Generally, acoustic wallpaper or soundproof wallpaper is used to describe layers of papers that has a foam backing or other suitable material for sound insulation. However, you may also find another type of acoustic wallpaper made from sound-absorbing materials in its entirety. This type is often referred to as acoustic wall coverings. Consequently, there is no additional layers of material hampering the absorption and thereby the acoustic performance.

VINYL WALLCOVERING

This wallpaper has a paper substrate on which the decorative surface has been sprayed or coated with an acrylic type vinyl or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). These wallpapers are classified as scrubbable and strippable, and are suitable in most any area. These papers are better resistant to grease and moisture than plain paper, and are good for bathrooms and kitchens.

ACOUSTIC FABRIC

We have a wide variety of acoustic fabric that can be used to wrap acoustical panels, cover speakers and amplifiers or directly mount to a wall.
Acoustical fabric for wrapping acoustical wall panels, such as our Guilford of Maine fabrics, are designed to let sound energy into an acoustical panel to do its job, rather than reflecting sound off the surface. Many of our Guilford fabrics are excellent for use as speaker grille cloth.
